Bangkok, Feb 1(.) India’s Devika Sihag announced her arrival on the big stage in emphatic fashion, clinching her maiden BWF World Tour Super 300 title at the Thailand Masters 2026 with a flawless run, culminating in a final win over Malaysia’s Goh Jin Wei on Sunday.
The 20-year-old did not drop a single game throughout the tournament, producing a series of assured performances against a strong international field. Her standout moment came in the quarterfinals, where she knocked out top seed Supanida Katethong, setting the tone for a dominant march to the title.
In the final, Devika was in complete control against Malaysia’s Goh, a Youth Olympic gold medallist and two-time Junior World Champion. The Indian raced through the opening game 21-8, showcasing her sharp attacking play and court coverage. She was leading 6-3 in the second game when Goh was forced to retire, sealing the title for Devika in convincing fashion.
With this victory, Devika becomes only the third Indian woman to win a Super 300 women’s singles title, joining an elite list that includes PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal.
