New York, Dec 22 (.) The highly anticipated ‘Spider-Man’ film, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ starring Tom Holland, has officially wrapped production.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton announced the news on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication throughout the shoot.
Calling the project one of the most “rewarding” of his career, Cretton shared how much the filmmaking journey meant to him.
“I’m so deeply grateful for the people who walked with me through the biggest, most rewarding film I’ve ever been a part of… To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters, and to our unbelievable crew, who worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship,” he wrote.
The director also praised Tom Holland, highlighting his leadership, work ethic, and dedication both on and off screen.
“And of course, to Tom Holland 2013, for your kind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances, and for your friendship. That’s a wrap on Spider-Man: Brand New Day!”
Alongside Holland, the film features Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Michael Mando returning as Scorpion, and Jon Bernthal joining as the Punisher. Sadie Sink is also part of the cast in a yet-to-be-revealed role, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon return as MJ and Ned.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is slated for a theatrical release on July 31, 2026.
