Los Angeles, Feb 1 (.) There’s exciting news for fans of the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise: the family is officially reuniting for the next major installment.
Universal Pictures has announced that the upcoming film will be titled Fast Forever and is scheduled to hit theaters on March 17, 2028.
The movie will follow ‘Fast X’, which was released in 2023 and directed by Louis Leterrier. Vin Diesel, who stars as Dominic Toretto, shared the announcement on Instagram.
Accompanying the image, Diesel wrote, “No one said the road would be easy… but it’s ours. One that has defined us and become our legacy. And a legacy… lasts forever. March 17th, 2028! FAST FOREVER.”
His post featured a photo of himself alongside his late co-star Paul Walker, who portrayed Brian O’Conner in the series. Walker tragically passed away in 2013 while ‘Furious 7’ was still in production.
