Jaipur, Jan 18 (.) Voices of Faith, a festival that explores the ideals that form the core beliefs of religions from across the world, will return for its second edition at the Barbican Centre, London, between March 13–15, the oganisers announced on Sunday.
The dates were announced at the ongoing 19th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival by Sanjoy K. Roy, Managing Director, Teamwork Arts, in the presence of Navtej Sarna, former Indian Ambassador to the US, UK and Israel and award-winning author and columnist, and Shaunaka Rishi Das, Founding Director of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.
‘Voices of Faith’ is conceived and produced by Teamwork Arts and presented by The Kamini and Vindi Banga Foundation. It brings together leading scholars, writers, thinkers and artists to reflect on faith, belief, compassion and the interconnectedness of faith through dialogue and cultural exchange.
Speaking at the launch, the festival’s organisers underscored the need for nuanced conversations around faith in an increasingly fragmented world, positioning ‘Voices of Faith’ as a platform for empathy, compassion and human connection. Begun as a successful digital series during the pandemic, the festival is a much-needed initiative to highlight the universality of all faiths.
