    Modinagar, Feb 7(.) The fourth day of the IWLF National Youth, Junior, and Senior Weightlifting Championships 2025-26, held at Yadav Farm House, Modinagar, showcased remarkable strength and determination as athletes competed in the Women’s 58 kg category.

    Senior Women’s 58 kg: Bindyarani Devi Clinches Gold In a display of seasoned prowess, S. Bindyarani Devi representing Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) secured the top spot in the Senior category with a massive total lift of 208 kg.
    • Gold: S. Bindyarani Devi (RSPB) – Total: 208 kg (Snatch: 89 kg, Clean & Jerk: 119 kg).
    • Silver: Usha (RSPB) – Total: 206 kg (Snatch: 93 kg, Clean & Jerk: 113 kg).
    • Bronze: Rima Bhoi (ORS) – Total: 193 kg (Snatch: 83 kg, Clean & Jerk: 110 kg).
    Usha of RSPB created new national record in snatch with a lift of 93 kg beating Indian standards. S. Bindyarani Devi of RPSB created 2 new national records in clean & jerk and total with a lift of 119 kg and 208 kg.
    Junior Women’s 58 kg: Rajyashree Biswas Emerges Victorious The Junior division saw a fierce battle, with Rajyashree Biswas from West Bengal claiming the gold medal through a consistent performance across both lifts.
    • Gold: Rajyashree Biswas (W.B.) – Total: 192 kg (Snatch: 86 kg, Clean & Jerk: 106 kg).
    • Silver: Valluri Susmitha (A.P.) – Total: 191 kg (Snatch: 86 kg, Clean & Jerk: 105 kg).
    • Bronze: Aisangfa Gogoi (ASM) – Total: 190 kg (Snatch: 83 kg, Clean & Jerk: 107 kg). Rajyashree Biswas created 2 new national records in snatch and total beating Indian standards with a lift of 86 kg and 192 kg. Aisangfa Gogoi of Assam created 1 new national record in clean & jerk with a lift of 107 kg beating Indian standards.

    Youth Women’s 58 kg: Valluri Susmitha Leads the Pack Andhra Pradesh’s Valluri Susmitha dominated the Youth section, securing the gold medal with a substantial lead over her competitors.
    • Gold: Valluri Susmitha (A.P.) – Total: 191 kg (Snatch: 86 kg, Clean & Jerk: 105 kg).
    • Silver: Karangi Hemasri (A.P.) – Total: 174 kg (Snatch: 80 kg, Clean & Jerk: 94 kg).
    • Bronze: Ankita Pradhan (SSCB) – Total: 170 kg (Snatch: 70 kg, Clean & Jerk: 100 kg). Valluri Sushmita of Andhra Pradesh created 3 new national records in snatch, clean & jerk and total beating the Indian standards with a lift of 86 kg, 105 kg and 191 kg.

    The championships continue to draw large crowds in Modinagar as the nation’s top lifters vie for glory.
    The IWLF National Championships continue through February 14, 2026, featuring the brightest talent in Indian weightlifting.
