London, Jan 19 (.) The U.S. thriller “What We Hide”, headlined by McKenna Grace with Dacre Montgomery and Jesse Williams in prominent roles, has secured distribution across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The rights to the U.S.-produced film have been acquired by Signature Entertainment, expanding the film’s international footprint ahead of its wider release.
The coming-of-age story follows 15-year-old Spider (Grace) and her younger sister, who are trying to get by after their mother suffers a fatal overdose. The sisters are forced to hide their mother’s body to save themselves from separation by social services, but when their mother’s dangerous boyfriend (Montgomery) returns, the girls must take matters into their own hands, reports DEADLINE.
Penned and helmed by Dan Kay in his feature film debut, the film is backed by Tony Stopperan (Pig), Jeff Hoffman (Lansky), Dan Kay, and Joseph Restaino (Pig) through Outfit Hungry Bull Productions (Pig) and Hoffman’s Above the Clouds (Lansky).
