Los Angeles, Jan 30 (.) Hilary Duff may be gearing up for a major return to the global stage. The singer wrapped up the final night of her four-stop “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” mini-tour on Thursday at a sold-out show in Los Angeles, hinting that a world tour could be next, Variety reports.
The concert at The Wiltern marked Duff’s first headlining performance in more than a decade. During her performance of “With Love,” she continued a fan-favorite tradition by inviting audience members onstage to recreate the viral dance she once performed on The Today Show.
One of the fans, Mitchell Gerrard Johnson, joined two others for the moment, after which all three were gifted t-shirts. As the fans turned around, the message on the shirts became clear: “WORLD TOUR LOADING…”
While no official announcement has been made, the hints continued through the end of the night. Duff closed the show with an encore of “What Dreams Are Made Of,” and concertgoers received flyers reading “more to come,” along with a link to her official website, according to Variety.
According to Variety, the setlist blended classic fan favorites such as “So Yesterday,” “Wake Up,” “Someone’s Watching Over Me,” and “Come Clean,” alongside newer tracks like “Mature” and “Roommates.” Duff also performed unreleased songs from her upcoming album luck… or something, which is set for release on February 20.
The event drew several celebrity attendees, including Mandy Moore, Olivia Holt, and members of Duff’s family. During the show, the singer became emotional as she addressed the crowd.
“I want to say that there’s been an overarching happiness and sunshine that you all have brought to these shows,” she said. “The world is super hard to process right now and so bleak. I want you all to know that each and every one of you here, I love you and love that we can take a pause,” as quoted by Variety.
Duff is next scheduled to perform six shows in Las Vegas- three in February and three in May, all of which are already sold out.
