New Delhi, Feb 28 (.) The countdown has officially begun for fans of Yash. The makers of ‘Toxic’ have announced that the film’s much-awaited trailer will be unveiled on March 8 in Bengaluru, setting the stage for one of the biggest cinematic moments of the year.
‘Toxic’ marks Yash’s first major release following the blockbuster success of the KGF franchise, and the team has carefully avoided overexposure, choosing to keep promotions tightly controlled. Each update has been measured, and impactful.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, the film promises to present Yash in a strikingly new and intense avatar. While plot details remain under wraps, Toxic is being described as a stylish, high-octane action drama mounted on a grand scale.
The intrigue surrounding the film skyrocketed after the teaser amassed over 200 million views within 24 hours of its release. The clip introduced Yash in a bold clean-shaven look as a character named ‘Ticket’, immediately sparking fan theories, including speculation about a potential dual role.
The film also features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles. Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, Toxic has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages.
